Entries for the Zumtobel Group Award 2014 now open
Entries for the Zumtobel Group Award 2014 – Innovations for Sustainability and Humanity in the Built Environment are now open. This year the Group Award has been enhanced and expanded to incorporate three categories. The new 'Urban Developments and Initiatives' category is sponsored by Thorn Lighting and offers a prize fund of €40,000.
Thorn intensifies its outdoor activities in China
To further its presence in the Asian market, the Zumtobel Group has completed the purchase of the remaining shares in Thorn Lighting Tianjin Limited. The share transfer was officially registered on 22nd July 2013. Thorn Lighting Tianjin has now become a wholly owned subsidiary of the Group which is instrumental for the implementation of the growth plans for this market.
